Bryce Miller

Bryce Miller is a sports columnist for The San Diego Union-Tribune. He has been the sports editor and lead columnist of the Des Moines . He’s worked in Arlington, Va., for USA Today and covered six Olympics with that group. He has written from the World Series and MLB All-Star Game, Final Four, Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, college football championship game, Rose Bowl, NFL playoffs, U.S. Open and PGA Championship — among other national events. Assignments have included trips to Mexico City, the Dominican Republic and Seoul, South Korea, to cover the Padres; Eritrea, Africa, to trace the childhood roots of Boston Marathon winner and Olympian Meb Keflezighi; and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to chronicle the world’s richest fishing tournament. Miller — an annual voter for the Heisman Trophy and Wooden Award, and former college football and basketball Top 25 voter — is a member of the Baseball Writers Association of America. He’s an Emmy, Eclipse Award and multi-time APSE winner.
