North Coast Women’s Connection held a “Walk on the Wild Side Luncheon” April 8 at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach. The event included guest speaker Kathy Patrick, a former national lobbyist and Pilates studio owner, who told her exciting story through quilts “Sew Beautiful,” according to a news release.The event also included a fashion show titled “Empowering Women Through Fashion” which was presented by Carolyn’s Designer Resale Boutique, which is located in downtown Del Mar.NCWC is a community of women who volunteer their time, primarily in the North County and San Diego area. The mission is to “bring women together in a non-denominational setting sharing faith, fun, laughter and new friends,” the news release stated.NCWC is under Stonecroft Ministry, which is based in Kansas City, Mo.
