North Coast Repertory Theatre presented its Spotlight Gala “All that Glitters: An Evening with Broadway Divas!” on May 17 at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad.

The celebration of North Coast Rep’s 43rd anniversary season benefits its artists and educational programming. The event, which included silent and live auctions, delicious food and drink, culminated in a one-night-only performance starring Broadway standout Ashley Blanchet (Frozen, Beautiful), Broadway veteran Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked), and Emmy nominee Angela Ingersoll (Get Happy, End of the Rainbow).

At the event Molli Wagner was recognized as San Diego’s Champion for the Arts. This award is “presented to individuals who have given an extraordinary measure of their time, talents, and dedication to benefit visual and performing arts in the San Diego region,” according to a news release.
