The Del Mar Village Association (DMVA) will welcome summer to Southern California with its annual Del Mar Summer Solstice event on Thursday, June 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. Each summer, San Diegans flock to Powerhouse Park for a one-day, immersive culinary event featuring elevated, robust bites from Del Mar Village restaurants alongside a carefully curated selection of wine, beer and cocktails, plus live music—all set next to the Pacific Ocean in Del Mar, according to a news release.

Summer Solstice 2025 will feature delectable bites from more than 15 award-winning Del Mar Village restaurants, including Adelaide at L’Auberge Del Mar, Monarch Ocean Pub, Tamarindo and Viewpoint Brewing Co. serving food and brews, plus longtime favorites Beeside Balcony, Il Fornaio, Jake’s Del Mar, Poseidon and Sbicca Del Mar, among others. Rounding out the lineup will be Coral Del Mar, The Cottage and Better Buzz—all newcomers to Del Mar Village since last year’s event.

The beverage roster at Summer Solstice will be just as hot, featuring a wide variety of not-to-be-missed sips from Real del Valle Tequila, Hendrick’s Gin, Seashell Cellars, Awineco, Boochcraft, Deko Cocktails, Fall Brewing and other wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic options.

Beyond the stellar food and beverage lineup, attendees will sway to the tunes of celebrated local performer Ben Benavente, accompanied by the Stateside Bruddahs—island–style music featuring reggae beats and instrumental looping.

The funds raised at this event are crucial, as the net proceeds go directly to DMVA, allowing the organization to further its essential nonprofit mission: to bolster and sustain the small businesses that form the heart of the Del Mar community, the news release stated. Through this financial , DMVA can continue to implement programs, initiatives, and activities that enhance the local economy, preserve the area’s unique charm and ensure Del Mar remains a vibrant place for residents and visitors alike.

This popular annual event sells out every year. General ission tickets are $130 and VIP tickets, which allow early access to the venue at 4 p.m., are $155. Ticket prices will increase at midnight on event day, June 12, if the event hasn’t sold out by then. Tickets are available by visiting www.visitdelmarvillage.com/summersolstice
