La Jolla Country Day School congratulated 120 graduating seniors during its commencement ceremony May 30.

The ceremony at the University of San Diego’s Jenny Craig Pavilion started with a recorded performance by fourth-graders of “It’s Hard to Say Goodbye” by Don Besig and Nancy Price.

Speakers included Head of School Jeff Terwin, upper-school history teacher Corbin Prychun, graduation coordinator May Vukotich and student Gabriel Rosen-Ahmed.
