UPDATED:

Victor Figueroa is making the California League look as easy as the Arizona Complex League.

The 21-year-old first baseman / outfielder homered in his second game with high Single-A Lake Elsinore on Wednesday in a 9-7 loss at Visalia.

Figueroa went 2-for-4 with a walk and two RBIs in his second game with the Storm.

The Padres drafted Figueroa in the 18th-round out of Florida Southwestern State last July.

He made his professional debut earlier this month, slugging five home runs in just 11 games (.605/.659/1.263) to force his way to Lake Elsinore.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Figueroa, a left-handed hitter, went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI on Tuesday in his Storm debut.

Figueroa played all 11 games at first base in Arizona and first base again on Tuesday before playing right field for the first time on Wednesday. He also made an error in right field on Wednesday.

Shortstop Ryan Jackson (.977 OPS) went 3-for-5 with his third homer, a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored.

Second baseman Yendry Rojas (.625 OPS) went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.

Right-hander Kleiber Olmedo (8.71 ERA) allowed five runs in three innings in the start.

The Storm are 17-24.
