The Social Service League of La Jolla celebrated its 70th anniversary with a gala May 14 at La Jolla’s Darlington House.
The event featured a buffet dinner, entertainment and a silent auction to benefit the league’s mission of providing food and housing to senior citizens in need.
The Social Service League of La Jolla owns Darlington House as an event venue where proceeds go to the organization’s League House, which provides housing for area seniors who can’t otherwise afford housing after retirement. ♦
