UPDATED:

Cast off your sweaters and grab some sunscreen. After a long period of cool, damp weather, San Diego County is expected to get four days of high temperatures and lots of sunshine, the National Weather Service says.

A high pressure system will prevent moist, chilly air from dropping into Southern California, causing the marine layer to thin out and, in some places, largely disappear.

If you’re more than a mile from the coast, San Diego’s daytime high is forecast to be 73 on Thursday, 78 on Friday, 80 on Saturday, and 74 on Sunday. Temperatures won’t dip below 62 on Saturday and Sunday night, when James Taylor performs at the Rady Shell on San Diego Bay.

Inland San Diego County will be even warmer. Julian’s daytime high is expected to hit 75 on Thursday, 82 on Friday, 85 on Saturday and 77 on Sunday.
