Del Mar Community Connections (DMCC) will host its annual Ice Cream Social on Friday, May 16, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Del Mar Civic Center Plaza (1050 Camino Del Mar). Older adults, their friends, neighbors, and loved ones are all invited to attend and enjoy this free event featuring the Sweet Treats ice cream truck and delightful entertainment from a barbershop quartet.
DMCC’s Social Good Times Committee has planned the event and will be on hand to help older adults with mobility challenges to order and serve their favorite ice cream truck treat. Current and new participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to mingle with others and learn about more ways to get involved with DMCC services and activities.
