Del Mar Community Connections (DMCC) recently announced a major website makeover in an effort to help improve communication with the older adult population they serve. The changes include enhanced navigation and improved accessibility for vision-impaired s.
The upgraded website navigation will make it easier for visitors to learn about the many services and programs that DMCC provides, including a calendar so that residents can plan ahead and easily access activity descriptions and registration tools. The site also features information about DMCC’s medical equipment lending library, a multimedia library of past educational presentations, including presentations on health and wellness, scam prevention, exercise classes, Page Turners author visits, and more; and a section paying tribute to and summarizing the lives of past community .
An accessibility feature which offers assistance to address many different types of visual impairment can be utilized on any page by clicking a blue circle, which encloses a white figure, at the bottom left of the website. The website can be visited at www.dmcc.cc.
