UPDATED:

Police are investigating the mysterious death of a woman in the Colina Del Sol neighborhood and are seeking a man described as a person of interest in the case.

Jadeline Laurent, 28, was found dead shortly before 9 p.m. Monday at her home on Euclid Avenue, just south of El Cajon Boulevard, according to  San Diego police. Her body bore no obvious signs of traumatic injury, homicide Lt. Jonathan Dungan said.

A ruling on Laurent’s cause of death was on hold pending completion of postmortem examinations.

On Tuesday, investigators determined that Laurent had been involved in a recent “altercation,” the lieutenant said. He did not elaborate on the nature of the dispute or disclose who else was involved in it.

Laurent was in a relationship with, and possibly married to, a man who has been described as a person of interest, identified as 39-year-old Jean Tercier, according to police. They lived both lived in the Euclid Avenue home.

“His whereabouts are unknown,” the lieutenant said Wednesday.
