Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding a man sought in a commercial armed robbery in the Midway District two months ago.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
San Diego police said a man in his 30s walked into the Adult Superstore at 3610 Barnett Ave. at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 17 and approached a clerk, raised his shirt to indicate he had a gun in his waistband and demanded money.
Police said the clerk complied and the man left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man was seen driving east on Barnett Avenue in a dark-colored sedan, police said.
He was described as White, with a thin build, over 6 feet tall and wearing a straw hat, a blue Hawaiian-style shirt printed with white flowers, along with dark jeans, black shoes with white soles and a white T-shirt wrapped around his face, according to the Police Department.
Authorities asked that anyone with information about the case call the Robbery Unit at 619-515-2772 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
