2025 CIF San Diego Section high school swimming preview

Key dates

May 10: Section final

Overview: Of the 11 swim events, eight boys records have been set over the previous three years. That period corresponds with the dominance of Torrey Pines’ Logan Noguchi, now at Princeton. He set three individual records and contributed to two relay marks. On the girls side, three records were established over the same span, including two individual marks by recent grads. So a new era begins.

An injury affected Del Norte senior Julien Rousseau in last year’s section meet. The Cal commit had double wins in the Division 1 200 freestyle (1:39.26) and 500 freestyle  (4:28.15) two years ago.
