On March 22 and March 23, Carruth Cellars Urban Winery will be hosting one of its biggest events of the year, the 15th Annual Barrel Tasting Party at the Solana Beach Tasting Room (118 S Cedros, Ste C, Solana Beach).
For $76 per person, attendees will have the opportunity to sample 12 wines straight from the barrel, as well as enjoy pizza by California Poppy Cafe and live music from local artists. They will also have access to purchase “futures” with discounts up to 20% off for the public and 40% off for Wine Club , according to a news release. Futures is a term used in the wine industry when buying wine before it’s bottled. This year Carruth Cellars will be offering tastes of its 2023 and 2024 wines.
The two day event is split into three sessions: Saturday, March 22: 1 – 4 p.m., and 5 – 8 p.m.; Sunday, March 23: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
