The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce will host its 2025 Encinitas State of the City address on Thursday, March 20 from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Encinitas Community & Senior Center, 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive.

This annual community event will feature new Encinitas Mayor Bruce Ehlers delivering his message about the city’s current status and his vision for its future. In addition, the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, Visit Encinitas and the three 101 Mainstreet Associations will give an update. This special evening is an annual sell-out with 300 in attendance.

The evening kicks off with a lively cocktail reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mingle with city council , local officials, and business owners while savoring delicious bites from popular Encinitas restaurants and enjoying music from the North Coast Symphony Orchestra.

With beverages available for purchase and free parking, it’s a good opportunity to connect with the people shaping the future of the Encinitas community. The formal program begins at 7 p.m., where attendees will hear a comprehensive update from Ehlers on the city’s policies, economic initiatives, infrastructure projects, and more, according to a news release.

“Encinitas is a special place, and this event is a chance to come together and celebrate all we’ve accomplished while looking ahead to an even brighter future,” said Ehlers in the news release. “I’m excited to share my vision for the city and work together with our community to build upon the success we’ve already achieved.”

Sherry Yardley, CEO of the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, said in the news release: “For over three decades, this event has been a highlight for the Encinitas community. It’s a chance for all of us to reflect on our successes, share ideas, and make connections that will continue to strengthen our local businesses and overall quality of life. We look forward to celebrating the positive momentum happening in our city.”

Tickets for the event are available now for $65 ($55 for chamber ) and can be purchased at www.encinitaschamber.com. It is recommended to buy tickets soon as this event sells out fast.
