Cardiff Farmers Market, the weekly Certified Farmers Market hosted by the Cardiff 101 Mainstreet Association, recently announced its second anniversary with a special celebration on Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. – 2 p,m. This milestone marks a year of significant growth, community impact, and, most importantly, ing San Diego County local farmers, producers, artisans, and makers, according to a news release.

To recap the second year, Cardiff Farmers Market has distinguished itself as one of the first markets in Encinitas to offer Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT), reinforcing its commitment to equitable access to fresh, local food. The market has witnessed a remarkable 1/3 increase in certified farmers, vendors, and visitors since its inception, showcasing a growing range of locally sourced items, the news release stated.
Featuring an array of ready-to-eat food products, artisan vendors, makers and crafters, the market has become a platform for local entrepreneurs in North San Diego County, fostering a diverse and vibrant vendor community.
