The 72-player field for the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational coming next week to Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla currently includes 44 players in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking, 13 major championship winners and three past winners of the Genesis.
The tournament, set for Thursday through Sunday, Feb. 13-16, on Torrey Pines’ South Course, is hosted by golf legend Tiger Woods. The player commitment deadline is Friday, Feb. 7.
The Genesis was moved to La Jolla, site of last month’s Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour, because of the recent wildfire in the event’s usual home, Pacific Palisades.
Among the notable commitments are No. 1-ranked two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler, U.S. Open winners Rory McIlroy, Wyndham Clark, Matt Fitzpatrick and Lucas Glover, 2024 Genesis and 2021 Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama, 2021 Genesis and 2023 Farmers Insurance Open winner Max Homa, two-time Genesis and 2013 Masters winner Adam Scott and 2025 Farmers champion Harris English.
