The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a woman who was found unconscious at a Chula Vista Metropolitan Transit System station earlier this month.

The woman, believed to be between the ages of 18 and 25, was found unresponsive around 11 p.m. on Jan. 10 at the Palomar Street station.

She was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista where she was pronounced dead, the county said in a release.

The woman is described as being 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 166 pounds with black, wavy hair and brown eyes.

She has multiple tattoos including one spelling “Samantha” on her right rib cage, a rose on the outer corner of her right eye, a heart on the right side of her chest and a money bag on her right ring finger.

“Despite extensive efforts, investigators have not been able to identify the woman and are asking for the public’s help in case they may recognize her unique tattoos or her description,” the county said.

The woman’s cause and manner of death are still under investigation.

Anyone with information is advised to the medical examiner’s investigations unit at 858-694-2905.
