St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center presented its 12th annual “Tea by the Sea” at The Marine Room restaurant in La Jolla on Jan. 18.

The event included cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, tea, a drawing, shopping and live music. Proceeds benefit the Sophie’s Gallery art program.

St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center is a nonprofit that provides personal and professional services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. ♦
