Let’s strengthen ourselves and our community

As we move through midlife and beyond, many of us are choosing to fine-tune what truly makes us happy. Our desires for the future may have shifted. Many of our early-life obligations have lessened and changed.

Now we see more clearly that our time on Earth is limited and never guaranteed. While we reflect on the past and plan for the future, we may uncover some core beliefs that have been driving factors in our lives. Many of our core beliefs that developed in our younger years were impacted by those closest to us.

As we discover a deeper understanding of ourselves, we can more easily assess which core beliefs have served us well. There may be some that haven’t, and now is a good time to release them. Each of us has the power to make positive changes within ourselves.

Our positive individual changes often propel positive community change. The community of La Jolla is a strong one. As residents, we do much more than just live here. We make our dreams come true here. We create beautiful lifelong memories here. We share our energy with others here.

Let’s continue to strengthen ourselves and each other in this lovely community we call home.
