
National Charity League, San Diego del Norte chapter is hosting an informational meeting on Thursday, Jan. 16 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Solana Beach from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Mothers of 6th grade daughters are invited to meet with current to learn about the chapter, ask questions, and apply for hip.
Celebrating its 100th year, National Charity League (NCL) is an organization that brings mothers and daughters together in a commitment to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences throughout their 7-12th grade years. The San Diego del Norte chapter is the 37th created chapter of the over 300 chapters nationwide. Steeped in tradition, yet always forward-moving and inclusive, the San Diego del Norte chapter volunteers with over 45 philanthropies throughout San Diego County and has over 280 active , according to a news release.
Mothers and daughters who the San Diego del Norte chapter will participate in various philanthropy opportunities, cultural experiences, and group events. NCL San Diego del Norte young daughters gain valuable leadership tools and mentoring skills.
“Our are empowered community volunteers who carry-on our legacy of social awareness, integrity, empathy and comion,” said NCL San Diego del Norte President Dr. Preeti Sonni-Mehta in the news release. “We promote an organization that embraces diversity and inclusion. We look forward to meeting a new group of mothers and daughters who are interested in sharing our mission of serving communities together.”
