Del Mar Little League registration is now open for the 2025 spring season, welcoming all ballplayers ages 5 to 14, based on their age as of Aug. 31, 2025.
Del Mar has developmental divisions for the youngest players such as t-ball, coach pitch and rookie/machine pitch, and for the older players there are levels of competitive divisions based on their age along with their experience/skills. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11 at Ashley Falls for kids who want to play in AA or higher (AA starts at eight years old).
Matt Seefeld, the new Del Mar Little League board president, is hoping for record registration this year, aiming for 10 teams per division.
