Champion-Cain pushes for early release, citing ‘horrific’ sexual abuse while in prison

Currently serving a 15-year sentence for masterminding San Diego’s biggest Ponzi scheme, Champion-Cain was among hundreds of women who were incarcerated at the now shuttered Dublin prison in California that came to be known as the “rape club.”
