Torrey Pines High School athletics programs recently celebrated Senior Nights for fall sports such as girls flag football, volleyball and field hockey. Seniors were feted with balloon arches, flowers, posters, giant cut-outs of their faces and lots of love from family and teammates.
The class of 2025 played a role in very successful seasons as all three squads won Coastal League titles. Both flag football and field hockey were undefeated in league play. The Falcon volleyball team went all the way to the CIF Open Division championship game where they fell to Cathedral Catholic. The flag football team continued its winning ways through the playoffs and were set to play for the CIF championship on Nov. 23 (after press time for this newspaper).
