The girls 5th/6th grade Penn State Nittany Lionesses of Carmel Valley Friday Night Lights flag football capped off an incredible season with an impressive 40-6 win in the championship game over the girls 5th/6th grade Colorado Buffaloes at Ocean Air rec park, a news release stated.
After an impressive regular season which included wins over all boys teams, the Lady Lionesses put on a strong performance in the championship game scoring numerous touchdowns through the air and on the ground while also securing multiple interceptions on defense. While the score showcased their skill and teamwork, the game was a testament to the dedication and sportsmanship of both teams.
