Raymond Ashley speaks about the new “Art of Navigation” exhibit at the Maritime Museum of San Diego that draws on some of the finest examples of period instruments, charts and voyage s, illuminated by the work of documentary maritime artist Gordon Miller. The museum also offers an array of exciting visitor experiences including bay tours aboard a Swift Boat and the 1914 Pilot, public sails on the schooner Californian and 16th-century galleon San Salvador, and overnight family stays on the Star of India.
