Cub Scout Pack 734 held its annual Bridging Ceremony at Solana Pacific Elementary School on May 22. The event was organized by Lion Den 4, led by Nicoleta Emhe. During this beloved Cub Scout tradition, 68 Cub Scouts honored their achievements by “crossing the bridge” to the next rank. This recognition gives Cub Scouts a sense of personal achievement as they learn new skills, complete adventures, and earn badges.
Pack 734 currently serves 91 girls and boys who attend school in Carmel Valley, Del Mar, Solana Beach, and Encinitas. The group meets monthly and is sponsored by the Optimist Club of Del Mar – Solana Beach. Pack 734 is part of the Rancho Coastal District in the San Diego-Imperial Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
