The San Diego International Fringe Festival, running Thursday, May 16, through Sunday, May 26, is expanding to more than 60 acts from all over the world for its 12th year, and many of the theater, comedy, music, circus, immersive and dance performances will be on stages in the Point Loma-Ocean Beach area.

New venues Mockingbird Improv and the Light Box Theater at Liberty Station in Point Loma and the Wildsong Theatre & Arts Collective (formerly OB Playhouse) in Ocean Beach the Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater and Centro Cultural de la Raza in San Diego’s Balboa Park, New Destiny Church and No Limits Church in Lincoln Park, Finest City Improv in Hillcrest, Tap Fever Dance Studio in Pacific Beach and Les Girls in the Midway District.

All tickets are $13. Multi-show es are available for $35-$104. A Fringe Tag, necessary to purchase tickets to any show, will be sold at all venues for $7.

All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the performing artists, organizers say. Money from the sale of Fringe Tags goes to the festival.

Here’s a rundown of the shows in Point Loma, OB and Midway, in alphabetical order:

“Audition Sides” (Riot Productions): May 16-25, Wildsong Theatre & Arts Collective, 4944 Newport Ave., Ocean Beach

After a messy affair and nasty breakup, two actors must put aside their tortured history together to book their dream roles playing lovers.

“Bharantanatyam and Beyond” (Radhika Karandikar and Deepta Seshadri): May 22-26, Light Box Theater, Liberty Station, 2590 Truxtun Road, Point Loma

Two immigrant teaching artists from India who practice and perform the Indian classical dance form bharatanatyam explore a wide range of repertoires.

“Dad, Playboy and Me … Not Your Average Slideshow” (Sleaze Bucket Studios): May 17-25, Wildsong Theatre & Arts Collective

Comedic storytelling by A.G. Norton featuring rare Playboy Club photographs and anecdotes from people who worked and visited there.

“Falling On Track” (Jennifer Savion): May 16-26, Light Box Theater

A music-powered journey from Savion, a San Diego performing artist, chronicling moments of throwing caution to the wind and changing direction in the face of uncertainty.

“I Need a Beer” (Evan Duffy Ledbetter): May 17-22, Wildsong Theatre & Arts Collective

A play about a family and how it develops over generations, focusing on the main character, Rose, who becomes a mother.

“Intolerant” (Uma Dobia): May 23-26, Mockingbird Improv, Liberty Station, 2590 Truxtun Road, Point Loma

Original songs, musical theater favorites and opera parodies are featured in Dobia’s romp through denial and ultimate acceptance of her body’s allergies and intolerances.

“Junk Mail — The Variety Show” (RatCity): May 18-26, Wildsong Theatre & Arts Collective

Comedic variety show featuring stand-up comedy, sketches, burlesque, clowns and more.

“Masala” (Arzoo Malhotra): May 19-26, Mockingbird Improv

Comedian and writer Malhotra presents this hour-long comedy show.

“Mockingbird Improv Presents”: May 17-25, Mockingbird Improv

Mockingbird Improv presents a series of comedy shows.

“The Next Act” (Lisa Pedace): May 16-26, Mockingbird Improv

Comedian Pedace weaves an hour of stand-up comedy and music.

“No F@%!s Given. None Taken. All Done” (Pamela Paek): May 16-26, Mockingbird Improv

A comedy show challenging unspoken assumptions and social norms.

“No One Special” (Julie Kim): May 16-19, Mockingbird Improv

A show about the childhood of Kim, a comedian, writer and producer, who tells stories about money, theft, weight, gender, race, bullying and more.

“No Regrets” (Golden Corpse Ensemble): May 18-26, Les Girls, 3790 Riley St., Midway District

This mix of modern dance and burlesque, accented with live jazz and unique props, explores the sinister underbelly of San Diego in the late 1960s.

“No Worries If Not” (Katie-Ellen Humphries): May 16-20, Mockingbird Improv

Comedian Humphries performs a blend of stand-up and storytelling in a tale of laundry, love, lying and her fraught history as a people pleaser.

“On Earth As It Is In Hell” (Andrew Spink): May 16-25, Wildsong Theatre & Arts Collective

Comedian and storyteller Spink explores self-reflection, messy family situations and hell.

“Only Bones” (Daniel Nodder): May 17-26, Mockingbird Improv

Physical performer Nodder plucks creatures from evolutionary history and pushes the boundaries of physics while bending limbs in ways you never thought possible.

“Paraashakti” (Sannidhi Performing Arts): May 17-26, Light Box Theater

This show uses bharatanatyam, a traditional dance form from southern India, to explore Paraashakti, which in Indian culture is the cosmic feminine energy that moves the universe.

“The Princess Strikes Back: One Woman’s Search for the Space Cowboy of her Dreams” (Victoria Montalbano): May 17-25, Wildsong Theatre & Arts Collective

In 1997, then-13-year-old Montalbano was introduced to her perfect man, Han Solo of “Star Wars,” and she’s been looking for him ever since.

“PSA: Pelvic Service Announcement” (Amy Veltman): May 18-26, Mockingbird Improv

Comedian Veltman shares truths about herself in this multimedia show featuring original songs.

“Puppy Love (The Werepuppy)” (Exuberant Theater Company): May 16-26, Wildsong Theatre & Arts Collective

Sean Mulvihill performs a range of characters in this comedy about a shy stagehand whom magic turns into a cute puppy, or werepuppy.

“Reunion: Chapman Dance & KT Davis Dance”: May 16-19, Light Box Theater

For “Memento Mori,” choreographer Teresa Chapman commissioned George Heathco to create an original score about transformation, with rhythm and form mirrored in the structure of the choreography.

This show, based on Jennifer Coburn’s novel, asks can a divorcing couple survive co-parenting as they try to get on with their lives?

“Things Are Fine Actually” (Neil McArthur): May 18-26, Mockingbird Improv

Veteran Fringe performer and comedian McArthur navigates dating, parenthood, the pressure to succeed and more.

“Two Wolves” (Kaylin Saur): May 22-26, Light Box Theater
