Voting in the 2022 general election begins just a few weeks from now on Oct. 8.

In the next couple of weeks, you’ll hear from candidates in important races, as well as ers and opponents of each ballot proposition.

Today we’re focusing on California’s 49th Congressional District, which represents northern San Diego County and part of southern Orange County.

Democratic incumbent Mike Levin is seeking a third term and is challenged by Republican businessman/nonprofit executive Brian Maryott, a former mayor of San Juan Capistrano.
