Urban Solace’s Bluegrass Brunch is gone but not forgotten.
An homage to the now-closed North Park restaurant’s popular musical meal will pop up Sunday with a special brunch at Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge in Coronado.
Matt Gordon, the chef and owner of the pioneering eatery, will be whipping up such Urban Solace comfort classics as cinnamon rolls with butter pecan sauce and cream cheese frosting, pork belly hash and shrimp and grits.
Bluegrass Band Plow will entertain guests with a mandolin and banjo, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The pop-up is part of a brunch series at Leroy’s, including tonight’s (we love breakfast for dinner!) Brunch at Night, starting at 5 p.m. And on Nov. 30, Leroy’s chef Ronnie Schwandt welcomes Pure Project brewing to the monthly Craft Beer Brunch, featuring $5 drafts and $8 flights.
